My name is Diane and welcome to my website.

 

I am based in Warsash, Hampshire, UK. 

 

I’ve enjoyed making pictures since I was a child, and for many years, I've kept my creations to myself.  However, many people who saw them wanted to be able to buy them and have encouraged me to make my art available.

 

It is difficult to pin down what my style is, but to put it bluntly, I enjoy making pictures, using oil paints, graphite, water colours, pastels. 

 

Living in Hampshire has given me access to some of the most beautiful places that have inspired me in choosing the colours of my pallet and living near the sea has given a rich texture to my exploration of light, colour and shape.

 

I enjoy painting animals, the beautiful British countryside, townscapes and waterscapes.
